Ended up having to by a monster of a UPS because I went overboard on my video cards and power supply.

On a side note the graphics cards produce an undesireable amount of heat (and noise) which makes me want to upgrade to a GTX 690 but the price tag is holding me back.

I'm about to get a new power supply and then I'm going to go for the 6 core i7 after that. Will need a new motherboard as well.
