If playing games the moment they come out isnt important, then its not a problem with PC games. I used to love that console games always came out pretty finished. They we're always solid experiences compared to PC. But the PS4/ONE are just as bad as the PC nowadays. So many games riddled with performance issues that get fixed over the following months. Very un-console like experience. I cant remember a single game on my 360 that needed a performance patch.

I was a 100% console gamer for over 15 years, because it was so comfortable and easy. But the advantages seem to be all but gone now. Console gaming can be frustrating and quirky. So I figure, whats the point any more? I went PC a couple of years ago and never looked back. My £500 rig runs 9 out of 10 games right out of the box with very little fiddling around - and they run like silk with most settings maxed.

And once you get used to playing every single game at 60fps, going back is next to impossible.

Just gotta find someone to buy the XBOX and I can get a good PC.
Yeah XBOX seems extra worthless these days, especially now when all the games that were exclusive will also be on PC and you don't need to buy an XBOX to play with your only XBOX friend, now you can use your PC and still do that.
I used to be a fan of 360, it was a solid console with similar perks as PS3 and was cheaper. One seems to have fuked everything up and is even more expensive than the PS4, I'm surprised they haven't fuked up the controller yet, but give them time.

We can't really insult PC elitists. I mean, it's clearly IMPOSSIBLE for them to avoid posting about their PC in a thread about consoles.

What price do you all think would be reasonable to ask for a practically brand new XBOX ONE 1TB, Gears of War Ultimate and Rare Replay, 1 Wireless Controller, Wireless Charging Kit, and Halo 5? I paid retail for all about 400$.

This might be a good idea to stick to ps4 I will always wanna play Ps4's exclusives, because Ps4 has always had the best exclusives in my book, and most of them run at 30.... right now, i can't tell the difference, id be happy if it stays that way.

60fps is good, but 30 is more than enough to fully enjoy a game. Right now I'm playing Overwatch with a mix of Fallout 4. Overwatch is 60fps stable, Fallout 4 sometimes dips below 30 in specific areas, and I love both of them and fully enjoy playing both of them.

I notice when it dips for sure, but yeah... a game that runs at a solid, consistent 30 is perfectly fine for me.

I made a switch. Owned a Xbox 360 and loved it, but the XBone is a media hub that happens to play games, and the PS4 in my mind has much better exclusive titles.

I've never got the PC vs console argument. I play games for fun, and the games i've had most fun playing weren't ground breaking in terms of their visuals.

You also factor in that an overclocked, modded gaming PC may well sh*t all over consoles for graphics, but they also cost $1500 vs $400 for a console. For someone who plays games now and again as a hobby in their spare time its just not worth the outlay.

A PC is more expensive sure but you get way more functionality than a console. You aren't putting together a gaming device. (Although that may be your main goal) So yeah, an extremely limited version of a PC is cheaper than an actual PC.

You can also build a PC centered around gaming for less than $1500.

A lot of people that build their own PCs have the knowledge (or at least can learn) how to overclock themselves. So paying extra for already overclocked pieces of hardware is a waste of money imo. Depending on how much of an OC the person wants, they may spend a bit extra on cooling, but that's about it.
