I agree, in a lot of ways describing yourself as agnostic is a "cop out" and rather vague. I was just trying to make the point that some (not all) of those that label themselves Atheist often confuse Atheism with Agnosticism. I will admit that I am not schooled in philosophy to make any real contributions here though I admit the subject matter does interest me (might pick up some of the authors you mentioned). Excellent thread though you made some good points.

Yeah definitely. It's hard for me to label myself but I "loosely" label myself as Panentheist (or Panendeist depending on the time of the day lol). Labels in many ways limit flexibility IMO.
