Why do you think that?

I wanted to show you guys, (like I stated in my starting post) that the Land with some of the strongest Patriotism in this World shouldn't have any more then other Nations out there who struggled with there History. Nationalism is not what I am attacking here, it's Blind Patriotism for the fatherland.

There is no debate here. You are imposing your views on other members. Write out a long, detailed reason and debate while you think your view of politics (this is the political section) is best, in a well structured, non video format. It requires paragraphs, in depth details of your views, why, who, what, when, where, how, and present things your side of what you are saying. If that is your argument, every inch of it, if that is all you want to say, then that is your opinion, but it cannot fill up a whole debate. Read the rules section again to get a better idea.

This is not a discussion board, this is for people who want in depth debate. When you clear that up, I will remove my posts and yours following mine so people can join in.

Well, I guess if you want an example of blind Patriotism being an enemy of humanity we just have to look at the aftermath of September 11, 2001. He appointed Tom Ridge Director of Homeland Security without getting the approval of the house and senate. He convinced a majority of the populace that sacrificing some of are freedoms was the right thing to do thus the Patriot Act was born. He convinced most Americans that Iraq was are true enemy and Osama Bin Laden (who murdered 3000 Americans on Sept. 11) did not matter. We went to war with Iraq even though they were meeting every one of the U.N. guidelines for disarmament. People believed the French were assholes because they were against the war and decided to boycott anything that had the word French. So despite this president pissing on checks and balances, ignoring Osama Bin Laden, going to war with a country that had nothing to do with September 11 and pissing off other countries in the process this man had an 80% approval rating. Bush even got re-elected. What does that say about us as a country? Feel free to debate this if you want to.
