I don't see how JZ doesn't win this GP. But I love all these guys and I'd be happy to see any of them win.
WAR HELL BOY too, Hansen sick

*Spolier* Thoughts from Dream 1
Dida needs to get to work on his ground game because he is probably the best guy at 155 standing. I mean he rocked Alvarez pretty bad and Alvarez fought at 170. But on the ground he just isn't there yet. I was scared he would face a wrestler early and even though Alvarez is a wrestler he is known for standing just brawling so I thought Dida would be ok but it's pretty clear against Andre all you have to do is get his back on the mat.
Mizuno had no business facing Cro Cop that was some old school Pride match making
Hansen might actually have a shot in this but I'm not ready to say the old viking is back just yet since Boku isn't a very good fighter.
Kawajiri, and Ishida are still 2 of the 3 favorites along with the winner of JZ vs Aoki.
Also maybe elbows should just be legal in Japan because I wish they didn't stop that fight.

First of all JZ/Aoki....FUC-K, that really blows, hopefully the rumour about them fighting again in the next round is true.
Hansen and Alvarez looked really really good tonight. Gotta love Hell boy, and I was really impressed with Alvarez, hadn't seen him fight before and he just man handled Dida.
Nice to see CroCop just get a decisive win, over a can yes, but at least he's got some confidence back, says he wants a big name next which is good.
Sakurai looked great
Minowa knee barring that fat guy was entertaining.
Those are mainly what comes to mind for me, wasn't able to catch the Kawijiri fight, how'd he look?
I'd like to see JZ win the GP, but I'm pulling for Hansen the whole way too. And I'm starting like Alvarez as well.
Good first show, excited to see the next one, hopefully it's on HDNet or some type of TV in North America.

Haven't seen this, but read the results.
Nice to see Hansen win. I like the guy a lot, and he beat a seriously tough opponent.
My man, Buscape won, which rules.
Poor Dida. We might have to put bbjd7 on suicide watch.
Kawajiri will probably win this thing, since it seems like JZ & Aoki are out.
JZ vs Aoki ends in a NC? Lame. Haven't seen the fight, but damn, talk about disappointing.

Boku's actually a really good fighter. That was a tough opponent for Hell Boy. Nice to see Joachim get the win. I love that guy.
BUSCAPE!!!!!
Poor Dida. We should all give bbjd7 one big hug. It's okay, buddy, at least he went peacefully....sorta.
I didn't see the show, was JZ really giving Aoki the bidness that bad?
jdun11, watch Aoki's fights with Kikuchi. You'll see why I'm on his nuts 24/7. Oh, and the Hironaka fight.

Boku's got stand up but it's very good anywhere else.
And Damone Dida didn't go peacefully at all he kept doing enough for the ref not to stop the fight and he kept giving me hope he would just close his guard but then Alvarez would pass to half guard and hammer the crap out of him.
At least he didn't get beat up on his feet then I would have to cry.
