Is Sakurai vs. Monma in the GP?
As the title says..
I saw on another site that Sakurai vs. Monma is part of the LW GP, but i thought originally that it wasn't.
Anyone got an answer?

Yes, because if it wasn't then there would be 7 tourny matches and you cant have that.

It's not a GP match. Sakurai has said many times that he's not fighting in the GP and is fighting at welterweight. It's listed on both the dream official site and the k-1 official site as a non GP fight. Where are you getting the info that it's a part of the GP?

lol my head, I just figured since it's a tourny, that there should be an even number of matches, and without Sakurai/Monma, there would be 7.

Its probably going to be 2 guys that are a) Japanese and/or arn't very good. I'm hoping randomly its Gomi but that pretty close to being impossible.

^I agree, it will probably be two fighters that aren't all that great. It's kind of disappointing that they haven't officially announced all the GP matches yet.

I read on some other forum earlier today that Shaolin is fighting in the last fight, but he is injured at the moment so will fight at the next Dream event in the last fight of the 1st round. Cool addition, at least its not two scrubs like we thought it maybe. This would probably happen at the 1st round of the MW GP - DREAM.2
