Well as you get older your reflex slow so I would say that you lose submission wrestling skill.

Saku is a legend but there is no way he can even get to a decision against Jacare on the ground at this point.

Saku in his prime vs Jacare now would be very close IMO and Jacare would still probably take it. Submission wrestling and grappling have evolved a lot since Saku was trashing the Gracies. And Jacare is one of the three best submission grapplers ATM. Along with Marcelo Garcia and Roger Gracie.
