DREAM DREAM is a new mixed martial arts organization promoted by: Fighting and Entertainment Group (owners of K-1), and co-produced with the former PRIDE executives from Dream Stage Entertainment. DREAM succeeds and will replace FEG's previous-run mixed martial arts fight series, HERO'S. The series has many of the elaborate production values of PRIDE FC.

It really shouldn't, because it's different rules. And different rules favor different fighters. Wandy defintely excels in an organization that allows knees / kicks on the ground.

I'd love to fight Dana White to show him how tough women are.

Super. Well he should be able to get away with most of his bullshit in Japan. I think he might wind up staying there.

Instead of just giving Caol Uno a Bye in the opening round, they should have just had Nick Diaz fight him, it would have made so much sense. Though Diaz probably wasn't in talks wit DREAM at that points.

Ya isn't it Hendo who always talks about how much he loves Japan?
Also had a questoin about DREAM..thought you would know. So I know they are having their lightweight tournament and thier middleweight tournament going on right now but are they going to have other tournaments for the other weights at a later time? I was just wondering this cuz I know Diaz is 170 so I was confused how he was able to fight while the tournaments were going on. Just a fight on the side or is he fighting up in weight?

I would imagine that WW, LHW and HW Grand Prixs will happen eventually, but probably not until next year. I wouldn't be surprised to see an Open-Weight Grand Prix either, seeing as those were extremely popular in Pride, and they still are in Japan (as dangerous as they can be).

I don't think his fight is going to be part of current Grand Prixs. I mean, Cro Cop fight on DREAM 1, but he wasn't part of a tournament.
Hope that answered your questions.

Eddie Alvarez is signed with EliteXC, but he's competing in the DREAM LWGP. He hasn't left EliteXC, they're just allowing him to participate in the tournament... kind of like Chuck Liddell did back in the day.

Dream is awesome. Even though I don't really care for him, Diaz is a good signing and he will give us an exciting fight, win or lose.
Gomi vs Diaz 2 would be mighty awesome, as would Shinya Aoki vs Diaz. Wait, Aoki vs Diaz sounds much better than Gomi vs Diaz. Can you imagine how boner inducing that fight would be?

Diaz vs Aoki, oh yeah! I'd like to see how that would unfold.

This sounds great Aoki vs Diaz battle of the gogo. But to be honest I want Marcelo Garcia to fight again. That does remind me though I need to stop being lazy and type up part 3 of the Next Generation involving Garcia.
