DREAM DREAM is a new mixed martial arts organization promoted by: Fighting and Entertainment Group (owners of K-1), and co-produced with the former PRIDE executives from Dream Stage Entertainment. DREAM succeeds and will replace FEG's previous-run mixed martial arts fight series, HERO'S. The series has many of the elaborate production values of PRIDE FC.

MMA and Joachim Hansen for the first time recognised in norwegian media !

.... joachim hansens DREAM victory got a huge section in norways biggest paper "VG" . It basicly explains MMA and how big it is abroud ( abroud from norway ) and that Joachim won is as big for norway as if they won the world cup.

so why am i telling you guys this ? becouse it gives a sense of how big this sport is becoming when a tiny country like my own gets into it. there is also an interwiev with hansens trainingpartner where he states that its about time Joachim hansen ( and mma in general ) gets the recognition he/it deserves

heres the link ( its in norwegian though ):

Thumbs up

That is awesome. Never even thought of how Hellboy winning would increase MMA's recognition on an international scale. In terms of the sport as a whole, Joachim is the best fit for the first ever champ. Can't wait for Hansen/Alvarez II.

Dont agree that Joachims win is as big as Norway winning 'the' world cup, but it was huge.

Yay! Now all there only needs to be an outstanding swedish MMA practitioner and I'm good

But once again congratulations Norway1. I think Hansen really deserved his win since he has been so awesome for so long.

If Norway won the world cup I would be in absolute shock! (although they had a good team in the 90’s).
Joachim winning the grand prix was great, Joachim is one of my favourite lightweight fighters.

yeah they where ranked 4th on the fifa rankings back then. but now i think they are ranked behind ( and im not kidding ) aserbajan LOL. they suck big time. problem is the manager dont get sacked. he has failed 3 qualifications and is still there to fail us in the wc qualification in two years.

Joachim's the man. I'm glad that he won, but why did he have to whomp my Aoki?

You know who should start fighting again? Jon Olav Einemo. Where the hell did that guy go to?
