DREAM DREAM is a new mixed martial arts organization promoted by: Fighting and Entertainment Group (owners of K-1), and co-produced with the former PRIDE executives from Dream Stage Entertainment. DREAM succeeds and will replace FEG's previous-run mixed martial arts fight series, HERO'S. The series has many of the elaborate production values of PRIDE FC.

Eddie Alvarez

I was just watching kind of an old Eddie Alvarez fight depending on your perspective from early '07 when he fought Nick Thompson, which is a very good fight btw. Anyway Alvarez only has one loss in his career and it is to Thompson because in the fight Thompson displays some really good countering and leg kicks. Thompson looked significantly bigger than Alvarez, like several weight classes bigger, but Alvarez still put up a great fight and was probably winning imo before he got caught throwing a superman punch. The reason I made this thread was just to bring up the fact that Alvarez probably should still be undefeated. He shouldn't have been fighting at 70 looking at how big Thompson was and how much of an effect, with the kick and punch reach, it ended up having in the fight.

Your opinions.

Eddie Alvarez is tough as nails, and I see him capturing a world title around November 8th.

Nick was a hell of an opponent for him. Thompson is a serious under the radar threat to alot of WWs.

Alvarez was fighting that fight at WW, but he's said that he likes fighting at the 160 lb weight class in his organization, that it makes him feel stronger.

Yea that Thompson match up was one he wasn't going to win.
Thompson is a large WW and Alvarez was undersized. Eddie is a monster he's going to beat a lot of LW's.
