Thats what people say. I heard the original owner committed suicide as well. Maybe something to do with Yakuza

I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that PRIDE could have a possible event in early to mid june. I guess that would be PRIDE 35, and I had heard that Shogun said he would be fighting in June. Having PRIDE 35 before the LW GP would be a good idea, that way their first show isn't a Grand Prix type show.

I feel like a junkie who hasn't had anything for days since his old dealer got busted and he's been forced to find a new one. On one hand I'm skeptical whether the new stuff will be as good as the old shit. On the other hand, I need my fix NOW!!!!

PRIDE had the best fights in MMA history bar none. The golden days of mma are over, now it will all be commercialized by dana white trash.

Eww getting his stupid self in the octagon just for his own camera time, worrying about promotions and his lil spotlight more than the fighters.

i miss it man, i couldnt even watch pride 34 completly because it was so sad.. you could even feel the emotion from the fans, behind even more silent than usual.

And i can see that the UFC is trying to please us Pride fans, by putting some classics back in the UFC (Lidell vs Jackson, Nog vs Herring), but its not going to do it.

I dont know how Pride will survive(they are supposed to), but i sure hope they do.. they lost their biggest advantage(the HW), and i really hope for Pride's sake that Liddell looses. That would put back some credit on the Pride LHW fighters.. because apart maybe for the LW(and im not even sure, considering a lot of WW of UFC can be LW of Pride), Pride are not dominant in the other classes.
