Nogueira vs Barnett was the best fight on that card. Seriously, that fight ruled, and it needs to get more love.

I've watched maybe 50% of bushidos 1,2,3 by now and yes Newton vs Gracie was awesome, Shoji showing heart but failing to weather the storm of shogun (he did have a few decent takedowns I might add)....I'm yet to see Gono fight shogun, but I can imagine how it will go....does he have that same "las vegas" entrance back then like when he fought kang? (I haven't seen Gono fight other than Kang).
Man, you got to love Mirko's high kick KO of the "first hispanic and masked fighter in pride" (Dos Caros Jr.) and his fight with I think Yamamoto....who doesn't shake hands, taunts him, gets pummeled, taunts him again, and continues to get pummeled.
Man, I just love Pride events so much more than UFC now that I really think about it...it just seems like their cards had so many more quality matchups....*sighs*

Bushido 3 has an awesome Patino vs Misaki fight. In fact, it's the best fight on the show. Then again, Bushido 3 wasn't that good, but Misaki vs Patino ruled.
The best thing about the Yamamoto vs Cro Cop fight was Mauro's commentating.
"You want another one, Mr. Yamamoto?" I never thought I'd say the best thing about a fight was Mauro Renallo.
Mirko vs Dos Caras Jr. was hilarious. Caras should've hid a steel pipe in that ridiculous mask.
Cro Cop vs Kanehara was just nasty. Seriously, that fight shouldn't have went to a freakin' decision. Fighters safety went out the window there, but Cro Cop got bored and tried some different things.

It is disappointing but we still have Barnett and all my beloved Japanese fighters!!! So it's not over yet.. Pride may not have the most skilled fighters now but Pride has and probably will always have the most exciting fighters and the fighters with the biggest hearts and balls. A good thing about it though is it gives you a chance to catch up on the shows.

In the last 10-15 days I've watched over 100 Pride fights on my computer, bought Bushido 8 from HMV and ordered 12 shows from deepdiscount. I really hope Pride 35 is in June.
Watching Gracie vs Yoshida right now. We need to find a way on how to boost the PFC section on this site.

Sucks that we probably wont see the grudge match. It could still concievebly happen but I doubt it. First two fights were wars, I still remember going crazy when Barnett almost had that rear naked choke in the 2nd fight.

i remember watching a free Pride FC show they had on a while back on regular cable. The card didn't look that stacked to me but I watched it anyway & the fights were actually really good. The Pride name was a name you could consistently trust for your MMA entertainment & they really seemed to focus on what the the fans wanted.
