The Walking Dead Game Discussion Thread! (SPOILERS!)
Since the "What games are you playing" thread is all Walking Dead discussion, I figured I'd make a separate thread for it. I'm sure there are people in that thread that don't play.
I also would like to be able to openly discuss the game without spoiler tags all the time. I didn't post any spoilers yet though, not until I get the okay from you guys
How good was Episode 2?!

Episode 2 was great. I am in love with this series.
This game is doing what I feel Mass Effect tried and failed at, giving me characters that I really feel connected with, either with hate or love, while providing me both small and large choices that range from easy to difficult, all in a short time period so there's a "panic" and real sensation of "damn I hope this works out".
I thought Episode 2 is the best game I've played all year, and that's including Diablo 3/Mass Effect 3. I realize that sounds crazy, and I love Diablo, but this simple, short, cheap game has my attention more than anything else at the moment, and I'm honestly looking forward to episode 3 more than I am Dishonored or Darksiders 2.

Certainly my favourite game in a long time as well. I can't even remember the last time I've been so emotionally connected to characters in a video game.
Telltale did a great job with the gore as well, it shows the reality of how twisted the world would actually be had there ever been a zombie outbreak.

Yeah I agree.
It's not gory to be gory, like 80% of the episodes are calm, relaxed, but when you need to chop someone's leg off to save them, that's brutal, and because the gore is so limited/not a major factor of the game, it makes me cringe more than most if not all other games.
Another thing I really like is the relationship between Lee/Clem. I really thought I wouldn't care about her too much, but like I specifically didn't kill the two brothers cause I didn't want to upset her - that right there is great characters/game design.

What happens to the first messed up brother you have to decide about if you don't kill him? I know the 2nd one gets eaten if you don't but I pitchforked the first guy who just shot me in the face before the scene rebooted and thought he kinda had it coming.

He gets his leg trapped and stays there, you can assume the zombies got him as well.

Stoked they announced a 2nd season to the game. So far the writing and the game experience has been wonderful.

Damn, I wish I would have pitchforked his face too, I kinda screwed up and clicked the hay. Either way, he died so whatever. I shot the second bastard though.

I pitchforked him but Clementine got kind of weird about it once I killed him. The second guy I just left to get eaten after I kicked the crap out of him.
