DC Universe Online
Since superheroes are making waves atm, is anybody playing this one? It's free-to-play, for some of you who might not know.

Uggh... it's not a good game. If you want a good superhero game play Champions Online. Much, much better. The customization options for appearance and powers alike is far greater. The gameplay flows well and you can use an Xbox360 controller for it quite easily.

Might pick it up again, i used to play it but it was so long ago. Sticking to DCUO right now though. |

I played DCUO when it first came out, it's not worth $15 a month, but for free I'm sure it's a great game.
Do people who bought the game before it went free get any additional content? I might check it out again if that's the case.

I haven't really ventured off of my few main games over the years.
My first MMO was Star Wars Galaxies from launch until they messed that game up. Will always have a soft spot for a lot of things they had in that game. I've been playing LOTRO since launch with plenty of breaks in between. I also tried out SWTOR but just can't get into it for some reason.
These days I really don't have a lot of time to sink into an MMO as its so time consuming. I get a lot more enjoyment out of the NHL games and FIFA games for the most part.

I tried LOTRO recently, wasn't my game at all. The movement really threw me off right from the beginning. Have yet to try SWTOR, some day. |
