I was so excited for this movie and it fell way short of expectations.

absolutely no point to the movie, nothing even remotely action wise happens tell the end. No chemistry between the actors.

Not sure if i'm even watching this one. Are there any ties to the original trilogy at all or?

If it's about drugs you need to watch Savages. It's ultra violent! Benicio plays a homicidal, sexual deviant, murdering pyschopath. Quite the polar opposite of his role in Traffic. Same genre though...

I heard it was pretty bad.

this movie goes on the same time the other ones do so there is alot of tie ins and some same footage, but man it i was a waste

I am very excited to watch this movie. well i know i has been released but i didnt get time to watch it. :(

Why would you expect anything form this movie? The previews looked awful. Jeremy Renner is not a particularly good actor. The Hurt Locker - in and of itself not a particularly good movie despite it's Best Picture Oscar - gave him an undeserved reputation in acting.

Hell he was easily the weakest part of Avengers.

And do not take the advice to see Savages! It was ultra violent but it was also ultra awful. One of the worst movies I've seen all year and I've seen Magic Mike*.
