The dwarves do look really, really ugly in this film. 75 percent on RT this early lol, wow. Talk about a mega flop. I'll still end up going to see it though.

Average score is 6.6/10

And, like I said, only people who have reviewed it so far are the people they're letting in to advanced screenings. Once people who aren't paid to give it a good review get in there to see it, this thing could be under 5/10

Yea, this really is shaping up to be an enormous flop. Possibly flop of the year.

What a shame, I was looking forward to it as well. It will probably be worse than Peter Jacksons King Kong.

You know that's what I thought about Transformers I, but man I have to say I relieved my childhood in those two hours in the widescreen. The sequels were sub par, but the original...I thoroughly enjoyed it and yes a chick working on an engine may have helped.

With Peter Jackson helming The Hobbit I can't see how it can be a flop. He times it so each film opens during Christmas which means it should recoup it costs during the holidays.

I'll be watching it no doubt about it. The first three blew me away and I was stoned sitting in the front row enjoying every minute of it. When it ended I was like...what!!! No way.

LOTR can not be topped in the medieval fantasy realm. Although a Game Of Thrones film would be interesting.

Marcus Aurelius: Tell me again, Maximus, why are we here?
Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

Go click the 'top critics' button on RT for the Hobbit. Hilarious.

It's a great book, and yes it will.

You wouldnt believe how often the word hobbit comes up in an intellectual day to day conversation. It's a blessing in disguise that I read that book!

Worst Studies in English Class
1) Cinema Paradiso - Awesome film, but come on, that shits in Italian.
2) Philadelphiia Here I Come - They made reading even more boring. It's impressive really. Another day over for old screwballs.
3) Hobbit - Lord of the Rings is alright, but this, this is not.
4) Merchant of Venice - This whole build up...for THAT? You cant take a pound of flesh AND the blood? Jerry McGuire watch out.
5) Macbeth - No one with a scottish accent in the movie. You disgust me!

Got my tickets to see this on thursday. I have my doubts about it, but unlike a lot of people, I don't want it to flop, I want it to be great and epic and blow me away like Fellowship did way back then.
