I'm just glad they decided to go down this road and make it a single purchase game. Not sure about the details though, surely all the future patches etc. are going to be free as well i presume.

The patches should be free. It wouldn't be much of a 1 time fee if you had to pay everytime they needed to fix/add stuff.
