It starts off fun and neat, but as the movies go along it gets pretty dark and mature, all kinds of twists and turns and people dying and big huge wizard battles and stuff, it's actually a really well done series because they start off as kids so the theme sort of reflects that, then as they age through the movies the movies age with them and it gets more mature and deep. You won't be disappointed if you start watching them from the start and keep with it.

Yeah I know a few people that have seen it and really enjoyed it. Not even people that read the books and got into at a young age like so many did. But people my age that saw them later on that still enjoyed it. I could tell that the later movies got more mature. I remember people wondering if Harry would die in the final movie.

Yeah, I didn't read any of the books, I just went in blind. Loved it.
Another good movie is Secondhand Lions. It's not a serious movie, but if you want something light hearted it's solid.

I actually haven't seen this classic either sadly. So many of the classics that come on TV I don't watch because of edited content and because I have to catch it before it starts. I want to see it start to finish.
Also haven't seen Shindler's List.

Wait wait wait....wait.....wait....
You haven't seen The Shawshank Redemption? That's like the best movie ever made. I didn't mention it because I figured you'd have seen that one.
Go watch that one immediately, then watch Harry Potter from start to finish.

The list of movies I should have seen is very long lol. I wouldn't assume I have seen ANYTHING lol
It's sad really. So many must see movies I haven't seen yet. Make a list of the best movies you have seen. I bet I have seen less then 25% of them.

Well, The Shawshank Redemption is a masterpiece, it's listed as the #1 greatest movie of all time on many publications, including IMDB. Watch that ASAP, make it your #1 priority.
Harry Potter, 300, Secondhand Lions, The Lord of the Rings, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, From Dusk Till Dawn, The Postman, John Q - are my suggestions for the moment after you are done with Shawshank.

I had a feeling you wouldn't have seen shawshank. Call it a hunch hahaha.
You need to get on that ASAP.
Schindlers list is an incredible film too, as is saving private Ryan and Forrest Gump.

I have seen 300, both Kill Bills, Pulp Fiction and John Q. I have seen about 90% of Lord of The Rings. Also I have seen Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan.
But I need to check out the rest.
I should have asked people to list there favorite all time movies or top movies for each genre.
