I didn't get to watch as many movies as I wanted to. Only watched 2. Looper, since I had already rented it and it was about to expire.
The only other movie I watched was The Shawshank Redemption. That was a great movie. I had no idea what the movie was about so I didn't know what to expect. I should have watched that movie a long time ago.
Don't know if it matters but I watched the TV version that I recorded on SPIKE.
The TV version is good, it misses a few scenes but nothing that important.
Now you should watch Harry Potter 1-8, it's probably the longest movie series you would be watching so might as well get that out of the way, and it's great.

Well I have already seen the entire 1st movie. So I got it started atleast lol
The Last Stand if you like 80's action type flicks. It's actually pretty good. Lots of action, typical Arnie flick with big guns battling drug cartel mercenaries. Two and a half stars.
Silver Linings Playbook with an ensemble cast. Main character gets out of a mental hospital and tries to get back with his ex who basically put em there in the first place. Along the way he meets a quirky girl who's had her own issues. Three and a half out of four stars.
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. LOLZ...if you're looking for a complete no brainer then this is it. It's ok...not bad, but not great. Two out of four stars.
Seven Psychopaths - Slightly different approach to this type of genre. Christopher Walken was prolly the highlight. Frankie White...anybody! Two and a half stars.
Django Unchained - Black get revenge on white people is really what I got out of this. Three out of four stars.
Next on review is Gangster Squad followed by Parker! Till then the forum is closed...

I'd also recommend Queen of the Damned. There are many people who do not like the movie at all, but for some reason I really enjoy it. Watch a trailer and see what you think, you might or might not like it.

finally got around to watching the remake tonight, it wasn't high on my priority list apparently that was the correct decision. They got a lot right, but the original is just streets ahead as far as I'm concerned.
