List your favorite movies for each genre
Since I still have a long ways to go when it comes to catching up on great movies. I figured I could have you guys list your favorites and I'll cherry pick from the list.
List any and all movies that you love.

Some favorites that pop into my head. But right now is an awful time. I'm like a zombie right now. Dead tired with little to no brain activity.
Comedies are the best.
Old School
Step Brothers
American Pie series
Wedding Crashers
Anchorman
Action
Matrix
Bourne Series
300
Troy
Newest Batman trilogy
Original Star Wars trilogy
I'll just list movies without labels
Godfather 1 and 2
Goodfellas
Friday Night Lights(movie)
Remember The Titans
Rounders
Dazed and Confused
Good Will Hunting
you brought up One Night in Paris as a joke but that reminded me of Midnight in Paris. Have you seen it?
My brain isn't working, the list could be much, much longer.

Rounders is fantastic! I have bought it on DVD 3 times(always leave it somewhere). Love it. Norton and Damon are great IMO.
I enjoyed Midnight in Paris. The only Woody Allen movie I have ever seen.
I still haven't seen Blade and I've only seen the 1st Underworld. I don't really care for the Crank series, a little too out there. Not horrible though.
Point Break is a classic. American History X is another good one.
Just saw Die Hard 1 last week.

Wow, it would appear you have some catching up to do! Die Hard is a classic. BLADE 1 really changed the whole vampire genre. My advice...lock yourself in a room and blast the opening...cuz it's one of the few films where it just COMMANDS your attention from the get go. Best club scene and soundtrack for it's time. You'll see.

My favorite related to MMA is "Kickboxer" because it starred Diego Sanchez as Van Damme's brother:
