House Of Cards...
For those looking for a riveting new show this is it.
A cross between Suits and Game Of Thrones in a political forum with a modern day setting.
The very first minute you already see who the main character is and what he's capable of. He also breaks character which is a first for drama tv. This show is a winner!

It's a really good show. Surprised more havn't seen it yet. Netflix released ALL EPISODES simultaneously. Imagine being able to see Game Of Thrones to the end rather than make us marinate for years...literally.

Not really, Boston Legal used to do it all the time, House of Lies also does it every episode with Don Cheadle oh and the original series did it all the time.
Anyways I'm two episodes in and it's pretty good I don't think it lives up to the British series yet. Nigel Hawthorne was such a great lead and you felt like everything that was happening was his last chance.

Heard they filmed both seasons back to back. So hopefully they release the second season soon. All shows should follow this format releasing all episodes at once.

He means Kevin Spacey will stop in the middle of a scene and address the camera. he will narrate or explain or opinionize or just crack a joke about the other characters.
It's a good show. It's not a great show.

Looks like OF beat me to the punch. I think it's solid writing and I can imagine the politicians revelling in it. Gives you a glimpse in the seedy world of politics at the highest echelons. I really enjoyed watching it.

I think it's a great interim show to watch since Boardwalk Empire, Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and Sons Of Anarchy are all on hiatus.
While Suits (6) is fairly entertaining, it's much lighter in tonality although there are some dramatic moments, but I'd rate House Of Cards (7) slightly higher. The previous shows I mentioned are all 8's and GOT at 9+. I'm not sure how they're going to top GOT. That's movie style budget...almost.
