Used to get up every Sunday morning to watch this. The theme still sends nostalgia shivers down my spine.

Anybody remember Dungeons & Dragons. Now that outro is still stuck in my memory.

Marcus Aurelius: Tell me again, Maximus, why are we here?
Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

Awesome to see you guys respond, I watched tons of cartoons when I was young but only a couple stuck with me, and this was one of them. What I remember most about it is it was pretty brutal and unforgiving compared to many of the other cartoons aimed at small kids. There was plenty of death and sorrow. At the same time it was a fun and epic adventure. Top drawer cartoon, best I ever saw.

Can't believe I forgot this. This was amazing.

Shows for kids these days are just awful in comparison.
