I can't really explain why I prefered season 2, to be honest I don't remember season 1 that well, it's on my re-watch list for sure. I know exactly what scene you are talking about and Damian Lewis knocked it out of the park with that one, he looked in such agony and despair, just wonderful acting. The Brody/Carrie love story has to be one of the only relationship on TV and film which doesn't feel forced and cliched at all.

I discuss TV series quite alot on the interwebs, and I've never heard anyone praise The Shield quite as much as that. I do agree it's a phenomenal show, and would make my top 10. Infact, heres a hastily put together top 10 drama series:

The Sopranos
Oz
Breaking Bad
The Wire
Homeland
Band Of Brothers
The Shield
Deadwood
Twin Peaks
Six Feet Under
I still have Deadwood and Six Feet Under on my watch list. Heard nothing but outstanding things on both shows. Top list, all great shows.

Not that this means anything significant but The Shield was actually ranked as a 9.4 on imdb a couple of years ago, but some troll single handedly down graded the score to an 8.6 because it gets compared to The Wire too much by creating multiple accounts. How pathetic can you get, I mean really.

I had just had a connection with The Shield that I haven't with any other tv show to date. Sounds really sad, but I genuinely felt like I was one of the boys, part of the strike team, I was that engaged by it. I thought the writing was absolutely fantastic throughout all seasons, and in fact, I can't name a single dull episode in all seven seasons. It was a roller coaster ride, and I can't say the same about any of the other shows, all shows had their dull episodes from time to time, but I didn't get that with The Shield, I didn't want it to ever stop.

Justified > Breaking Bad > Mad Men > Homeland > Sons of Anarchy > Walking Dead = Game of Thrones = Dexter > Boardwalk Empire > Following.

To early to tell how this season will play out, they had a lot of exposition to go through with those plot points. If the group doesn't come together soon and we get three split storylines the shows going to turn into Lost.

Justified, another one on the list. Just cause of Walton Goggins tbh.

Game Of thrones>>>>>>>>Boardwalk>>>>>>>>>Walking Dead>>>>>>>Breaking Bad

I've got the first season of Justified on DVD but still haven't got around to watching it.

Homeland is a piece of shit. Claire Danes' insane levels of overacting is beyond annoying. she doesn't deserve any of her awards, she's a smoke and mirros actor. just get overly emotional all the time to the point were it looks like you are about to cry and you are considered a great actor....BAAAHH! THATS ALL SHE EVER DOES!!!!! Demian Lewis or whatever doesn't deserve any awards either. **** that show.

Rant over.

I was really hoping more for this season of Walking Dead.... I heard the creator of the show say this season was what the original story was supposed to be about.

I didn't like the long layoff to have such a piss poor beginning.

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

Really annoyed by the ending of the episode. ALL through the break I was hoping they weren't going to go down.... spoilers ahead

Yeah I hope Hershel fixes him in between episodes rather than over some kind of long arc.

Watching episode 10 I've learned that in case of taking fire from an M16 from close range, find your nearest filing cabinet and hide behind it. The bullets will obviously not penetrate the filing cabinet and you'll be safe and sound.

really anything you can't see through should stop bullets based on that scene. Or if you just move at a slow jog with a helmet on, you're pretty much invincible.

Also did anyone else LOL when the governor one-arm fired the AUG into the air for no particular reason? I thought they were supposed to be low on ammo and stuff.

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?
