Season 3 of "The Walking Dead" was a deadly one, with the survivors losing T-Dog, Lori Grimes, Merle Dixon and Andrea.
In the finale, The Governor went on the lam and the Woodbury survivors moved into the prison where Rick's (Andrew Lincoln's) group was holed up.
If you think there's safety in numbers, think again. Check out the new, four-minute sneak peek of Season 4, which just debuted at Comic-Con. Not only are the survivors continually threatened by zombies (who are increasing in number), but it looks like there's a threat from inside the prison that will tear the group apart.
It looks like new regulars Chad Coleman (Tyreese) and Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha) will be getting plenty more screentime, with Tyreese finding himself in lots of trouble -- in the form of a herd of walkers!
We also get our first look at Larry Gilliard Jr.'s character Bob Stookey, a former army medic.
As a recent convert to this i.e. I marathoned from last Weds to last night for the first time, I have now seen it all the way upto now.
It's interesting really enjoyed S1, second half of 2, 3 was great, but not as amazing as everyone told me, I thought the season 3 finale lacked something. And now the beginning of S4. I already have my theories.
What are the spoiler rules here before I go on and are spoiler tags [ spoiler then] ??
BAMMA 20 - April 25th 2015, Birmingham. Live on SPIKE TV!!
Yah you can wrap spoiler tags around em in case someone is perusing this thread and hasn't seen the episode. Personally it keeps it more suspenseful.
It's a great show with film like production. In fact that was the whole reason why the original executive producer left/axed. He argued that they could not properly produce the show without a proper budget. I think GOT is up there with two to three million per episode. Amazing how far TV has gone.
To OF - Woke up late Sunday/Monday and figured it was still Sunday.
I just knew that kid wasn't coming back from the run to the store. Kid auditions gets the part in a syndicated TV show, but gets axed the first day. Marchonne is damn handy. She'd be part of my team along with cross bow dude. Man, what was up with that creepy woman who looked like a walker. That was a creepy scene. They need to put up the X-files slogan; Trust No One. Now the Harry Potter kid is gonna wreak havoc. A light saber would be so winning in those circumstances.
Marcus Aurelius: Tell me again, Maximus, why are we here?
Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.
People who don't want spoilers shouldn't look at a walking dead thread. =P
But yeah, if you don't want to be spoiled, look no further. I spoil pretty much most of the first episode in the tag.
Good episode and I like how they have added new characters. I expect the governor back eventually, but I'm happy that they aren't shoving that same storyline down our throats. Michonne merely searching for him keeps it on the back burner nicely for now. The approach they are going for at the moment makes the new season fresh in my opinion, I can't speak for others of course. I look forward to the rest of the season even though the trailer pretty much suggests that this large camp they have going is going to come crashing down soon. Hopefully they don't kill off all of the new faces. The potential for new storylines is good. This new former medic looks interesting too. I can't wait until we hear more about his story. (Unless they kill him off before we get that chance. Fingers crossed that they don't)
So how about this pig and this kid getting sick and just dropping dead and then turning? I look forward to seeing where this goes. I'm expecting him turning into a walker will play a part on why this "safe place" they have going for them starts to go on a decline. Come on next episode!!
