Breaking Bad's "Ozymandias" has to go down as the best episode for an American TV show of all time. That was amazing.

But yea, the mid season finale was really good. It almost felt out of place because it was TOO good. Can't remember the last time I was that pleased with a Walking Dead episode. Not since the second season probably. Things are starting to pick up again. All they need to do now is kill off that couple, or just the asian dude, and we'll be all set.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

Guess I wasn't the only one who thought Carl was a damn nuisance...lolz! All for his damn can of pudding.

I'm sure it'll pick up next week with the rest of the cast.

I actually enjoyed the episode. It wasn't walking dead's best work, but it's good enough for a return.

Carl's arrogance nearly got him killed multiple times. It had me on the edge of my seat, but the little bugger managed to get away. I thought it was a little sad how he thought Rick was a walker, but he couldn't shoot him because he was his dad and he finally realized he can't do it on his own and he still needs his dad. That was a touching moment to me.

Carl is a tough kid and he's learned a lot, but he is still just a kid. Like how he tried to run through the door, but it knocked him down instead. He's got a physically weak body and that will hold him back. Even Beth could probably wipe the floor with him in hand to hand combat. At least he is realizing his limitations.

Also liking the character development in Michone.

I can see why this episode isn't liked, but I liked it. Just my opinion.

You're right. They're further developing the character and of course showing more of the backstory of Michonne.

I think somewhere down the road they should show the phase of how it started rather than jumping right in to the pandemic. That's what made the web episodes pretty damn cool. To me the initial phase is always the most exciting though. The realization, then panic and ultimately how they deal with the catastrophe. Right now they're so far into this realm and have taken it deeper than most film/tv show that I'm aware of with the exception of maybe World War Z. All others' end in cliff hangers.

*NOTE* They really need to make a sequel to Dawn Of The Dead. That's prolly my favorite. The first 20 minutes is nutz!

The most compelling moments are when the main characters especially the good ones turn.

Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

Terrible first episode, as usual. Why would you focus the first episode of the season on the worst actor in the show? How to lose your audience 101 right there. Save his shitty acting for halfway through when the audience is too deep to leave at that point. I swear, it's like they're never going to get a first episode right.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.
