R.I.P.D. Review

You guys remember a show the USA Network made 10 maybe 15 years ago. This reporter guy had died and because of his past sins he had could either go to hell or join this police organization that hunted down demons whose sole purpose is to get human beings to sell their souls. If he does a good job then eventually he'll go to heaven. It was a stupid show that didn't last long but I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that it was 10x better then the piece of shit I just watched.

R.I.P.D sucks my balls. CGI was bad, the characters were unlikable (mainly Ryan Reynolds), the story was bland, unfunny, and uninteresting. I just could not careless what was happening on the screen. I knew going into this that it was going to be stupid but I figured it would have been stupid fun. No fun is to be had in this garbage. This made Men in Black 2 look Oscar worthy. I usually like Jeff Bridges but even he couldn't pull this film out of the muck.

My only consolation is that I didn't have to pay this see this film. Don't watch this movie people. Their is only pain and boredom in it for you.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I've heard a few people come back and say it sucks. I've been looking forward to seeing it when it when it come out to rent. I thought the idea is interesting and more important, Jeff Bridges plays what looks to be another badass gunslinger/cop type of character, which he suits perfectly (he was awesome in True Grit).

I'm still going to watch it when I can (when it comes on Netflix) as personal taste comes into play and all that jazz, but it's disappointing to hear so many bad reviews/takes on it.
