eh, looks like a generic version of Heroes.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

because Heroes wasn't written by a guy who spent 5 years writing Marvel comics or anything.

this is going to be good, it's going to have tie ins to the Avengers movie as well as Iron Man 3.... and probably more after more movies are made.

I have some low expectations, and this is coming from a comics nerd with long-time Marvel predilection. What was the last successful live-action Marvel series? I won't lend free points to something mediocre that rides the coattails of the films' success... would a similar concept show like Warehouse 13 be better if it was tied into Marvel films?

That said it could be awesome, and I'll give it its chance.

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?

I'll watch it for sure I'm 100 percent certain, but I work at a damn local tv station that airs that network, you know the only one with no NFL and never heard of MMA.

they don't have a lot in the first place:

Blade was on Spike 2006, but it was 2 years after the last Blade movie which mostly sucked and lost steam.

before that was Mutant X and Night Man, which weren't even Marvel comics, in 2001 and 1999 respectively.

then The Incredible Hulk in 1977, which was... incredibly successful.

so 1 out of 4 may sound bad but that's light compared to how many non-successes or failures a "traditional" studio has.

this being the first live action show Marvel put out since acquired by Disney, who also owns the network it's playing on, i think all things are looking positive.

(oddly enough, DC comics have a lot more successful runs on TV with Wonder Woman, Superboy, Swamp Thing, Lois and Clark, Smallville, Birds of Prey and currently Arrow over the same time frame.)

I've found recently that trailers don't really work with tv shows, i saw the trailer for this one and was like whatever, i'll give it a try. and after the 1st episode, i was hooked.
Plus, there's some eye-candy in it.

I used to love Night Man. what ever happened to that show.
