So I just found this film by accident. Directed by Ridley Scott with an ensemble cast including Penelope Cruz, Cameron Cruz, Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender as the titular character(counselor), Rosie Perez, Javier Bardem, even with cameos from Dean Norris, John Leguizamo, and Margarei Tyrell character from GOT. Yah this had quite the cast and story line.
After reading the synopsis it definitely intrigued me.
But, THIS IS NOT your typical film. It's dark, with pitch black comedy, and a Nietzschen tone. It's very bleak. You'll be saying "wtf" after the credits roll.
Those who have a stomach for slow moving films with a Shakespearean morality to it have a look and please discuss.
Marcus Aurelius: Tell me again, Maximus, why are we here?
Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.
Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.
