Kry, those people couldn't have watched more than a couple of episodes if they're that far off about Arya.

I saw a lot of rumors and discussion online before this episode that somehow Prince Oberyn might survive. And after it aired I watched facebook explode with anger and frustration. (haven't these people figured it out yet? when you play the game of thrones you win or you die.) He was easily my favorite new character this season but I'm glad they didn't screw with such a pivotal moment in the story.

I hope someone checks on the poor mountain's condition next week

Everybody has a breaking point although she might not be showing it at all. She witnessed everybody in her family get slaughtered, friends, dire wolves included and her kin. What I saw was someone who's already crossed over and was laughing hysterically because it's become almost comically twisted that these extreme tragic circumstances occur repeatedly. She's become numb already. I still stand by my review because geezus she's seen the most at such a young age. Who wouldn't lose a part of their mind. Of course in GRM's world she's being molded into a cold blooded assassin so from a fan perspective we see her as literally a bad ass heroine in the making. From a human standpoint I'm thinking man poor girl. That's the beauty of the show. The ones who've endured the most hardship end up coming out on top or go through a redemption arc...USUALLY. Good and bad.

Littlefinger getting beaten in a duel and getting his revenge many years later and becoming a mover & shaker.
Varys - A eunuch who rose to a highly influential adviser
Danaerys - slave girl to queen
Tyrion is the most obvious.
Arya who was feisty, but an innocent girl who turned to the dark side and has more kills then some of the of the other major characters.
Boltons' felt slighted all those years under the Starks and are now the Warden of the North.
Jaime has turned 180 especially after getting his hand cut off.

There's never been a story like this told before where each character and house could have their own entire series pretty much.

PS: Wonder why they had three different actors play The Mountain...

I was thinking they finally got him right. The first one would have been Ok but the 2nd one couldn't intimidate a highschool basketball team.

Arya has always been my favorite character but Sansa just made a big step up in the game.

Greetings Senor OldFan!

Yah they prolly didn't feel they had the right actor to play that character. What happens to em now...that's a big question?

Should be interesting to see the penultimate episode tonight along with the season finale next Sunday! Just like that we gotta wait another season. Damn!!!

It's the biggest finale the North has ever seen.

Quote:
In the past, "Game of Thrones" has normally saved the big death or shocking moment (usually a big death) for the season's penultimate episode, but Season 4 is about to change everything.

“It’s the best finale we’ve ever done, bar none,” said "GoT" showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Wow! You may now feel free to do a happy dance.

Benioff and Weiss went on to say that the acting performances, the effects, the music and everything else just came together in "perhaps the finest hour" they've ever produced. The pair added the only thing that troubles them is how they will top it next season.

Besides being its biggest finale, Season 4's "The Children" will also be one of the show's longest episodes, clocking in at 66 minutes.

It remains to be seen whether it's the end for Tyrion, if Jon Snow will be successful in his attempt to thwart the wildlings or if Arya will ever find a relative who doesn't die, but we can confirm one thing: ratings are coming.

"Game of Thrones" airs Sunday at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO.
