Ultimate Warrior Dead: Professional Wrestler James Hellwig Dies at 54

Roids prob didn't help. He was my favorite Wrestler when I was 8-9, RIP.

Crazy he was inducted to the HOF a couple days before.
Also I think he legally changed his name to Warrior.

Well that sucks. Loved watching him as a kid. I don't think their was ever a wrestler that had that much energy and frantic personality like the Warrior did. RIP!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I didn't think he looked well on RAW when he gave his speech. He also looked like he'd lost a lot of weight.

R.I.P thanks for the childhood memories.

Read this late last night. Didn't want to post it up, cuz frankly there's too many of these stories and it's a bit of a downer. Growing up they never teach you that friends, family and people you grow up to watch will eventually fade out. Funny thing is I watched a very old clip of him on Arsenio Hall in the early 90's about a month ago. Dude was amped up in his "Ultimate Warrior" character. He was no doubt a one of a kind.

"Like" if you ever used em as a character in the WWF video games.

Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

Yeah he did legally change his name, quite a while back. He did it to try and gain all the rights to his work with the WWE when he had his fallout.

Even though the man was a bigot and a bit of a racist. I still have a great deal of respect for his wrestling career, he was awful in ring, and had some average promo skills. But his entrance, and charisma were one of the best, plus he had a great look.
