Godzilla Review

I have to say I think the trailer for this movie is sort of misleading. The trailer promised us two things which was Godzilla and Bryan Cranston and they were hardly in the film. Godzilla is pretty much treated as a side character in this film. In fact, you won't see much of him until the last 30 minutes of the movie. The movie should have been called "HUMANS" because that's who you'll be following throughout the whole film. Their was this one scene in this film that was so frustrating to watch.

I didn't hate this movie however. The monsters in this movie were pretty cool and their were some tense scenes. I just wish their were more monsters and a little less human drama.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

That's disappointing to hear. I was wondering what the human drama/Godzilla screen time ratio was going to be, and you are not the first person I've heard say that it is unbalanced for the worst.

I'm still going to rent it but I would lie if said I wasn't a little disappointed by what I've been hearing.

Yeah, it was. Like I said, I didn't think the movie was bad. I had some fun watching it. Definitely a lot better then the Matthew Broderick version. Still, I walked out of the theater a little unsatisfied.
