Hi No Mercy, to answer your questions:
1. Kimura and No Surrender have completely unrelated story-lines and other than sharing the aspect of martial arts, we are committed to making this the best movie. We are not comparing ourselves to others and deeming our material as either superior/inferior as a sign of respect for the works that did inspire Kimura.
2. As a amazing as it would be to have Steven Seagal on our film, Kimura is a completely Latin American film with a moderate budget and as such its cast its composed by Latin people. Our antagonist is played by Jorge Perugorria, a famous Cuban actor who last played the title role in the Moviecity series "Lynch" and has worked on productions such as Steven Sondenbergh's "Che"
Another of our main actors is Robin Duran, son of legendary boxing figure Roberto Duran and a good boxer on his own right. The rest of the cast consist of Nick Romano, a wrestler in the Panamanian wrestling league and Thamara Tejada, an independent Panamanian singer.
The fighters featured during combats are all MMA experts from throughout Latin America.
3. Our budget is currently a little ove 900,000$
