How would you rateThe Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind???

Okay, I bought this game last week and I am not sure what to think about it. I was presented with so many choices in this game that I was unsure what direction I wanted to take my character. I actually started this game over 3 times before I made my mind up on a few things. After I got things settled I spent the last week killing egg poachers, collecting debts, killing orcs, freeing slaves, killing smugglers, killing ghosts and skeleton's, collecting bounty's on people's head, hunting down a serial killer in Vivec, been targeted by a mysterious group known as the Brotherhood of Darkness which may or may not been hired by the king of Mauringould (spelled wrong), and I haven't even started the main quest let. This game is just so massive.

So to the people who played this game how would you rate it? Would you consider this a good game or just drawn out and somewhat annoying?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Yeah Morrowind and Oblivion are completely open ended outside of the main storyline. I was never really into Morrowind but Oblivion sucked me in for a good 100 total hours of playing time (over the course of a few years of course) and that was not including the main quest from oblivion. It is also really cool that you get to be the main messenger of the Dark Brotherhood instead of being chased down by them in Morrowind lol.

Edit: I forgot to rate Morrowind - 7/10 since I was not too intrigued with the story, but if you liked Morrowind you will have one hell of a time with Oblivion. Oblivion - 9/10

I played TESIII for months. As is out of box, I give it a 7/10...the in-game graphics were so-so and not as diverse as I would have wanted in a game.

BUT! If you play the PC version, you can add in all the fan made mods you could ever dream of to enhance the game the way you want it. I added more classes, races, creatures, mods to make the in-game graphics awesome, got a mod to stop cliffracers from attacking 24/7 which was annoying, better armor and treasure finds, more landmass believe it or not, more quests, etc...basically you can find a mod for pretty much anything you might want in the game....after I added my collection of mods, the gameplay became 10/10 for me. Still one I will play for a long time to come!
