Street Fighter is a game that relies on pure gameplay unlike gimmick games like Mortal Kombat that rely on blood to get sales.

Anyone here have Street Fighter: Alpha Anthology? One of the best games ever created.

Probably the only SF game I've never played. Can't find it anywhere, and when I do, they want an assload of money for it.

SF4 looks sick. 3d engine with 2d side scrolling ass kicking.

Ha you can find it at any Gamestop/EB Games/any other gaming store for $25. The game has all Street Fighter Alpha games plus Alpha 2 Gold, Puzzle Fighter, and 2 additional upgrades for Alpha 1 and Alpha 3. It's seriously a bargain.

3 SF trailers from Japan. The game looks good but kinda slow in my opion, probably the same speed as other 3d games like Tekken and Virtua Fighter. I like how the camera zooms in on the fighter when they are about to execute their super.

Roster(so far):
Ryu
Ken
Chun Li
Guile
Blanka
E. Honda
Zangief
Dhalsim
Cammy?(not sure, could be a M. Bison agent)

i used to play street fighter II in the arcades when i was a kid. i played as vega and basically used the same moves over and over (the jump throw move he does) it worked though, because i could be on the machines for hours with just £1 (if you win, you get free credits).

theres a new street fighter coming out, but im pretty disapointed with the graphics. theres alot of poylgons and everything but the characters look a little chunky, and the art style isn't that great. ryu for example looks like an american body builder in a gi.

<--- the punch that started it all!

My current favirote fighters
Anderson Silva
Junior Dos Santos
Mauricio Rua
Alistair Overeem
Jon Jones

WAR dan hardy, paul daley, ross pearson and terry etim doing it for the britz!

I actually got to see Street Fighter 1, and it was good for the times. SF2 came out, and it was amazing, way ahead of anything and you got to be diffewrent fighters, quite a new concept then.

I spent numerous quarters on the game, bought every SNES version, and had fun.

I'd play Ken, since at the time I was still active in Martial arts, I had long blonde hair for a long time, and I even had a red gi that I'd wear before fights. My bets friend back then always played as Honda. I didn't relaize the correlation between Ken and my choice until my girlfrieds (psych degree) Said I picked ken because he most looked like me, and my friend picked Honda because they looked most alike. And it was true.

Good times.
