Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Beta

So, who has been playing the Beta, if anyone lol. I didn't even know there was a Beta out, I didn't get to sign up for it, so I had to borrow someone elses account to download it to my HD.

This is my thoughts on the game...

The visuals are probably the best I've ever seen in any shooter and thats comparing it to games like Gears of War. I love the fact that when you lay down in the grass is pretty much impossible to see you if you have your camo on. Seeing cars blow up, bullets go through walls, and the smoke effect are just great. This is the first shooter in a long time that I've REALLY enjoyed everything in the gameplay and variety. Everything seems so realistic, you always feel like your about to die. My favorite thing about this game is you have to EARN your upgrades for your guns and such. For every game you play, you get a certain amount of points for how good you do. You use those points to unlock upgrades, challenges, etc.... Examples of some of the upgrades are being able to run for longer periods of time, take more damage, different types of scopes for your gun, extra grenades, more bullet damage so they go through walls more, last stand (which lets you pull out your pistol if you get shot and taken down to try and get that one last kill or two before you die) and LOTS more. I love the fact that everyone is different and not just the same like in games like Halo and Gears. There are a TON of challenges to fullfill and you do this just by playing the game. Challenges are like get 100 kills with a certain weapon, shoot down a helicopter (oh yeah you can call in helicopters, airstrikes, etc...) and fall 30 feet to your death.

Overall this game is great and I'll be getting it on day one hopefully. I'll probably play it online more than Halo. I like Halo for his single player campain the most.

agree

I agree with you 100%

The graphics are amazing, some of the best on the 360 to date. The maps are so detailed its exactly like your there in the game. They are also designed for quick action shootouts. As for the game play, it rocks being able to deploy tactics and overcome certain areas. Iam glad Infinity Ward is back developing this.
