Gears Of War = Possibly The Greatest Game Ever Made!
 

After experiencing several days of dissapointment in trying to locate it in my college town, I decided to drive to a city about 45 mins away. It was a no-go, traffic on the interstate was backed up for literally 30 miles in a dead stop. This situation was so incredibly unlikely but i would not be discouraged. I turned around eventually after spending 45mins in traffic. I headed in the other direction to another town that was about 45mins away. I finally got there and got the game, returned to my dorm and me and my neighbor played the hell out of that game all day.

Yes, it is possibly the greatest game ever made! YOU MUST BUY THIS GAME IF YOU OWN A 360!!! RENTING WILL NOT SUFFICE!!!:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

The graphics are better than anything seen on a console before and the gritty gore and violence overwhelmed me with joy. Yeah, and one more thing, instead of a bayonet your main assault rifle, there is a ****ing chainsaw on the end of it!!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Yeah I got it yesterday and I have to agree. It is by far the best looking console game ever made. The water and rain is just amazing. The AI is very smart and thats just on casual difficulty lol. I haven't even played online yet cause i'm so hooked on the gameplay in single player.

word is its coming out on PC, then i shall get it, i dont own a 360 but wanted it since i saw it.+

The commercial is so funny.For the first of it I just got to say the music on the commercial is the stupidest song I ever heard. so the commercial goes like this: A solider is walking down a street and he sees guys coming so he dives in through a near-by window and meets this big ass spider thing and he gets crushed by the spiders legs.

Funny stuff.

I still love GOW but it is way to short. I gotta go back and play it on insane

What you beat it already?

I started it on hardcore, and let me tell ya......ITS HARD HAS HELL! If you have a friend play it in co-op, its always good to have someone there to help ya out that isnt AI. You still get all the achievements and you can switch between single and co-op.

Damn, I just beat it on hardcore. The end boss is almost impossible, it takes try after try to get the strategy down and execute it perfectly. :thumbsup:

It IS the best game made in awhile without question. You buncha noobs better stay off my versus ranked matches or I will smoke your sorry asses!!!

man i am dying to play this. i am the type that am not impressed w/ most games and end up buying a system just for one game. w/ xbox, i loved halo (adn then halo 2). with the gamecube, resident evil 4 was well worth it. (never really been a playstation guy). i have a feeling i've found the reason to buy the 360 now with GOW. i'm no microsoft loveer, but w/ halo 3 and the halo real time strategy game in the works, the system is going to be hot!
