I merged these threads as the older one has a lot great suggestions to add to the newer one.

I've gotten into the Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson and I'm on book #3- it's one of the best fantasy series I've read so far. It's much more harsh, realistic and one of the best series to combine the fantasy type world with cold hearted realism that many series tend to avoid. I very much recommend it.

If you like harsh realism, you should read the Song of Ice and Fire series by GRR Martin. Any character can be murdered off without notice. It is awesome. Nobody is safe.

Finishing up American Psycho. I also started reading The Art of Racing in the Rain. It is a really good book about life through the eyes of a dog as he looks back in the past as his time draws to a close. Sad but a really good read.

I also started reading Hitler's War by Harry Turtledove. I am enjoying it so far. Alternative history about WWII starting early and what would happen...

Just started this this morning. Great read so far.

As this forums resident music snob/junkie the only books I seem to read are about music/musicians. Or stuff on the sixities and the whole counter-culture movement, love that stuff. History books are great also.........

I am kinda jealous of people that read fiction. I have a hard time reading it because i feel like I am missing out on something when reading fiction. like i am almost wasting my time witha story when could be packing my brain with usless info..... weird

Congratulations you won!

Jealous of your secrets

Wish I still had my external with all of my comics on it. Now I'm stuck with a measly 100gb HDD that I can barely fit my music and OS on
