I have read it, and I love Chuck Palahniuk. For being gay, he writes up kind of hot hetero sex.

I read in Rolling Stone years ago that a friend of his was the real-life pool kid, told Chuck, and Chuck used the anecdote (whether the friend gave permission or not is unclear), the friend freaked and refused to talk to Chuck any more.

I am reading Cell by Stephen King. I am really digging this book, and what it has to offer.

I have read that book a few times actually. It definitely gets better as it goes on. The very beginning of the book is pretty boring in my opinion but it definitely improves.

I read Shutter Island last week.

I don't normally buy paperbacks new unless I think I'll read and reread them. This book definitely falls into that category.

Still reading the Tuner Diaries. Also reading Reign of Hell by Sven Hassel, good stories like all of his works are....

I've been looking there for a good series to start reading.

So far I'm considering, A Game of Thrones, The First Law, The Dark Tower, and Dresden Files. So what do I want to read?

I'm looking for something that's not too complex, easy to understand, and something that will have me hooked so I can't put it down. I was interested in the Wheel of time series but I heard it goes downhill after about book 6 and is hard to follow with so much stuff happening. But other than that it sounds cool. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the Lord of The Isles series by David Drake? That is a good series.
