Agreed swp. The movie was a weak, watered down, bastardized version of the book.

Also, to everyone talking about GRRMartin's Song of Ice and Fire series, the HBO series based pretty strictly on the books premiers This coming sunday. Check out the preview. It looks AMAZING! http://youtu.be/JQykXOukM2Q

In the middle of the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King. Also have Eddie Bravo's new book on pre-order, brown belt or not, still going to read it haha.

There were other adaptations of I Am Legend(The last man on earth, the Omega man). Are those any closer to the novel?

Just started the second book in the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Deadhouse Gate. The first was awesome, some of the characters are so powerful it's unreal. Curious to see where it's going.

Just finished the second book in the Kingkiller Chronicles 'A Wise Man's Fear' as well, and it is a fantastic sequel! One of the best books I've ever read, seriously cannot wait for the third now

For what must be the 100th time I'm reading..

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson

Funniest book I've ever read. Better than the film, although the films awesome too.

You should check out Hells Angels by Dr. Gonzo. Great read.

I just finished Nickel Plated by Aric Davis the other day. It's about a street savvy 12 year old who grows pot, busts pedophiles, and kicks ass in general. Not too bad.
