No jokes about anybody reading or not reading. At all.

I'm reading a few things at once, and I'm having a hard time keeping up because family stuff has been demanding lately.

Man it's been awhile since posting in here- currently reading the second book of Joe Abercrombie's The First Law trilogy- Before They Are Hanged and it's great stuff so far. Before that the 3rd book in the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher- freaking loving that series so far. Read a crappy Star Wars book in there as well. Read The Crusades by Thomas Asbridge- great condensed one volume history of the the Crusades that actually treats and presents both sides equally and fairly.

Butcher is by far one of my favorite authors. The entire Dresden series is pure gold. Also, check out Butcher's Codex Alera series. It's a completely different kind of fantasy series, but still awesome.

I'm about 75 pages into Bertrand Russell: A Life, and I'm enthralled.

Yeah- I'm loving Butcher as a writer and have the first 5 books of the Codex Alera series that I want to get to as well but I'll probably take a deep run into the Dresden Files among some other books before I get a crack at that series. Looking forward to it when I do though.

Understood swp.

I wouldn't have even considered joking with anyone in this thread but Rusty. He has a good sense of humor.

I'm currently reading "The Death of Spider-Man" by Brian Michael Bendis.

and "Fear Itself" by Matt Fraction.

I read The New Madrid Run the other night by Michael Reisig. It's not as good as The Stand or Lucifers Hammer but as far as apocalypse books it was pretty good.

Had a cool plane sequence that I really enjoyed and plenty of action in general

I've been reading this girls shorts for the past 25 seconds. Solid. I gotta say it's some great reading and I'd definitely recommend it.

Unless they read Condom Depot, it's boring.

I'm about to start Dubliners. Bertrand Russell:A Life was fantastic. I highly recommend it.
