Finished The Name of the Wind. All I have to say is... it's probably the best book I've read all year. What a fantastic story. I would have been a tad upset/annoyed had I read this without having the second book available, as the ending leaves 0 closure or answers, it doesn't wrap anything up or answer any questions, it just adds more then ends abruptly. Having the second book on the way I'm perfectly happy with it, but if the second one ends that way... not good. I stand by my dislike, well not dislike but annoyances with the romance, I suppose a person should be annoyed at this kind of romance and it makes you feel what Kvothe might be feeling so it adds to the story so in that sense it's great, but I would have preferred more butterflies to suite my taste. I actually have a ton more to say about this book but don't want to fill my post up with a bunch of stuff, which I suppose just shows much I loved it - I could discuss it for a long, long time. I can't wait for A Wise Man's Fears to get here.
I'll start The Lost hero tonight and both A Wise Man's Fears and The Son of Neptune will come in on the 14th. Problem being I'll finish The Lost Hero in like a day or two, then be waiting two days without anything to read, which is blasphemy!
