Hahaha...sounds like someone is taking a philosophy course.

My current reading for the upcoming week of courses is:

Robert Fogel,The Fourth Great Awakening and the Future of Egalitarianism.

Christopher Lasch, The Culture of Narcissism: American Life in An Age of Diminishing Expetations.

Herbert Marcuse, Reason and Revolution.

J.P.A. Pocock, The Machiavellian Moment: Florentine Political Thought and the Atlantic Republican Tradition.

Exciting I know, but we all have our thing.

Something Rotten by Jasper Fforde

When I have finished that I am going to re-read my Terry Pratchett books as there probably won't be many more coming out.

Just picked up a couple from the library

The Army of the Republic by Stuart Archer Cohen (just looked interesting, never heard anything about it)

And Lazarus Project by Aleksanar Hemon
about a jewish immigrant from eastern Europe in 1908 that gets killed by the chief of police in Chicago when offered a letter.
Heard it was one of the better books last year. We'll see.

Oh Swp... you have fantastic taste in literature. Oh and I heard they're making Call of Cthulu into a movie... but then I saw the trailer and don't want to see it.

Glad to know there's another horror buff in here.

(ever read Neil Gaiman? not necessarily horror, but definitely fantastical)

Gaiman is great. Finished Neverwhere again a couple of weeks ago. Looked for my copy of American Gods but it seems to have disapeared.
