Madden 2011

Has anyone played it yet? It was just released today, and I'm going to pick it up soon. What do you think of it?

I know it's getting worse rating than Madden 2010, but I buy it every year regardless.

I might get it, but I haven't played Madden since '06 LOL. So I'm sure I'll be very rusty at it.

I have Madden 10.
Madden 11 looks pretty much the same with little improvements, so I'm saving my Madden money for Mafia II and the new Call Of Duty

Well, I will let everyone know that it's really nothing special. I bought it today, and while I haven't gotten used to the major change, which is 'Gameflow'.

I buy Madden every year for the roster updates, but right now, I don't think this one is better than Madden 10.

I think that ever since EA was the only brand that could produce NFL Games, they stopped trying to make the game as good as they possibly could. They were getting better each year when they were competing with 2K Sports, but now they don't improve nearly as much each year.

I've run into people that still play 2K5 with updated rosters. There are still sites out there dedicated to updating the rosters, including draft picks each year. I can't ever play an older game, because frankly, I'm a graphics junkie, but I may try it at some point.

On a side note, I changed the 'sliders' around on Madden 2011, and it's much better. I've heard they're going to make the 'audible pad' or whatever it is, optional. I turned off 'Gameflow', and I'm starting to like it a bit more.

Same here. I never play games like NHL, Madden etc. if I know there's a newer version released. :D
