I may have to start a different character lol. I have a 42 Paladin on my server and it kina makes the lower lvl Pally boring. I may start a Rogue. I can catch up quick though since we left off really early.

Haha I love it. About 35k gold to get it on my server. I was talking to someone I was standing next to, and he was like, "My proto drake is pretty beast." I was like, screw you riding a dragon, I can freaking turn into one now!

I think I am going to get this game...

Do I need to buy the expansions right away? Would it make my experience better, or would it just confuse me?

Someone just tell me what to buy, and I am getting it. I've noticed it isn't very expensive.

You'll need the expansions if you want to go further up in levels. Like 50-55 up I believe. You could buy the first one and make sure you like it before buying the others if you're unsure.

vanilla WoW is to level 60, Burning Crusade is 60-70, Wrath of the Lichking is 70-80 and Cataclysm is 80-85. and need the expansions in between.

Yeah what Juggz said. They all change the game as well. Inaddition to more levels, it adds more dungeons and raids (throughout said levels) new professions, higher levels for professions, new items, etc...

You also have to pay monthly for the subscription. You can also pay for months at a time and I believe if you pay for more at once, it saves you money if you would have renewed every month.

also i know back in the day when you bought the expansion it gave you a free month..... i dunno if they do that on the old ones or not.. like if you bought the game and all 3 expansions at once if you get an automatic 4 months free....?


also if your going to play with someone who has the game, let them do recruit a friend. youll both get triple XP till 60 if you play new characters together, and the person who recruits you gets a free month and a 2 person mount to take the two of you around together.
