is it only me ? I thought the "gods of the arena"'s fight was very good. I mean they got up to the point we saw actual realist-ish ground techniques (it's been a while but I think we can see Gannicus attempting a triangle choke or something along these lines)

I really hope the fights on TV/movies would look a tad bit more realistic.

I know I saw an armbar......I'm pretty sure there was a triangle too but I cant remember

I just got really sad because we have to wait till next year to see anything new. AND if they hold true to the story.....thing wont go too well for dear ole Gannicus.........

But yeah the blindfold fight was amazing.....Seeing Crixus get front kicked through a ring of fire was pretty cool too lolz

That's the fight that had a triangle!

One of my favorite happened in the first series Blood and Sand, episode 1, Spartacus' first fight in the arena against those 4 gladiators.
That was awesome.

Im pretty sure the guy they say in the arena with the net...I forget the name.....But the one Batialis convinces his dad to have one in the Ludas.....Didnt he pull off an armbar?
