A lot of games do that. WoW has that feature up to a certain level as well just with some limitations. Hopefully it brings more people in as it definitely needs it.

I hear ya. I'm very new to MMO's and don't know which one would benefit them the most though. Only reason i started DCUO was it was F2P and you only had to spend money to buy the cool stuff, DLC's and whatnot. It seems to have worked for them. Don't know how i feel about only getting up to lvl 15 though, endgame is what it's about imo.

Playing Skyrim ATM - as well as some StarCraft of course, that romance will never die!

I'm not sure but i think you can play just the 3rd one. The story starts from game 1 though. Pretty neat option to transfer your character over to the 2nd and finally to the 3rd game.

I play Starcraft 2 from time to time still.

If you want a solid endgame, then Swtor is NOT the way to go. The end game is terrible.

If you want to start an MMO Rauno, go for one that is newish. Hopping into an MMO full of pre-set community rules/standards with years behind it will simply make you feel out of place and it will be more difficult for you to fit in at the end-game, not to mention if it's something like WoW, you have many expansions to buy.
My suggestion? Play some free MMORPG's (there are quite a few really good ones out there I can list for you if needed), until something like Guild Wars 2 comes out, which is looking to be an impressive MMO and will be new, so everyone (and you) start on the same knowledge level and ability.

That's not fair. The end game content is not terrible... it just doesn't exist.

I played dcuo for a bit but I hated everyone who played and the end game content. I played The Secret World beta and it was great; best MMO since preexpansion WoW. I'm not playing it though since I don't have any friends who are playing it and I don't like monthly fees.
SWTOR is just SWG the update; terrible game.

The Secret World looks awesome. I haven't played it but I have streamed people playing the Beat and it looks solid.
