Can't say much else on the world/missions, as I literally stopped playing an hour into it cause of the characters/theme.

Exactly the opposite, i'm still young and listen to rap/hip-hop the most so no surprise there. Having fun with SWTOR a little and thinking what should i play next. Perhaps the Batman series.

San Andreas had the most replay value for me. But as far as the story/missions go, I liked 3 and Vice City a lot. Really liked 4 as well.

I still rate SA higher than any other GTA game.
Hoping for good things from the next one.

San Andreas can hold it's own against pretty much any game ever made on pure fun. I remember playing it when it first came out, it just blew my mind. Bolting down the highway in a stolen cadilacc, the cops on my heels, with Free Bird blasting out of the speakers. Simply legendary.

For me the most fun GTA's were GTA2, VC and SA. Never got GTA4. Gameplay wise not a bad game, obviously, but it just didn't interest me. I played the story for a couple of hours and I got bored, maybe the story was too slow for me. Apart from that, you can do the same things you can in every other GTA - smash shit.. which I actually prefer in previously mentioned GTA's.

Something about the games you used to play when you were younger is special. I never get the same thrill of playing a video game than i had while being a kid/teenager. Crazy how San Andreas seemed so surreal back in the day and now were playing games like Skyrim, expecting it to be what it is.

VC had so much more charisma and awesomeness and was, marginally, a better game in my opinion
But yeah, those were the golden days

VC was too small. 2 moderately sized islands with a super super tiny one in the middle. Good game, but just small in comparison.
