The original Mafia is a classic, super fun game. I'm a huge fan of both Sopranos and The Godfather, but I've never played the games. The thing with spinoff products like those are you will always be compared to the original thing, and in this case, they are probably the greatest TV show and the greatest films ever made respectively. That's tough to live up to.

I liked RE6 at first but around chapter 3 of Chris' campaign it became a chore.
I kinda assumed it wouldn't be that great but Leons campaign would be the saving grace because of the return of zombies but from what i have heard it actually gets worse. so it completely killed my desire to play it.
I'm probably trade it in for Dishonored which i have basically no clue about. not to mention that i haven't cared about FPS single player in a LONG time although i ended up enjoying The Darkness II unlike i thought i would.
It was the first FPS since i can remember where it was actually satisfying to kill people.
Oh well. I'm gonna go check out the videos.

at least they behaved like traditional zombies in most ways (although they weren't). if there was a zombie outbreak in africa, what color would you expect most of their skin to be?

So far I have enjoyed Leon's story except the melting zombie after you kill it. And the computer AI co-op pisses me off sometimes. Not far into it but it's not horrible by no means

Not sure if it's the same with the US version but in the European version the African zombies range from black to white to Asian.

I heard some real bad things about RE6 which is making me scared to buy it.
I heard there is so many "time sequence" nonsense, that it is constantly interrupting the gameplay. And many of the "surprises" are just Gotcha moments and there is not much you could have done to prevent the "You are dead" screen.

Dishonored comes out in 5 days, it's looking to be the best "hardcore" game this year, I'd just buy that if you are on the fence, as the RE6 demo was awful (to me ay least) and the reviews aren't helping.

Yeah that sounds like a plan. Iv only seen a few things about Dishonored. But it looks good.
I wonder why they moved away from the traditional resident evil gameplay. I really enjoyed that type of Gameplay.
Now its more of a "action" game then it is a survival horror game. ) :
RE1 was awesome. Nemesis... Code Veronica. Heck i loved Resident Evil Zero on the gamecube.
The more "blocked" movement so its hard to get away and the having to conserve ammo was really great for survival horror games.

I finally got THPS HD, probably going to check that out today. Other than that, i'm all about DCUO still. Those MMO's are devilish i tell ya. Do the same stuff, earn some marks, try to get better gear and improve your rating. Then go back the next day and repeat until your'e able to advance.

Well they say they moved away from the slow paced, horror gameplay because they way the direction of the story is going you need faster combat. Tons of soldiers, big fast mutant dudes, mass zombies, the slow plodding controls/gameplay wouldn't work.
However, I don't know why they didn't keep it simpler and stick with the survival horror gameplay. Look at Dead Space (the first one) as an example, or even ZombiU coming out soon.
