For whatever reason, they're letting me play despite having only a beta access account, and (just to get to the inevitable comparison) it's better than DayZ in every respect. The engine is smoother, the menus and inventory are much more manageable. Zombies and environment are way better looking. Actually getting into a server has been very hit or miss, but then so was DayZ when it suddenly accrued an extra million players practically overnight.

In any case, it's an alpha release. I've played alphas of games that barely functioned at all, in comparison this is great. Or at least it will be, once they sort out their server space and bandwidth issues.

I finally rescued Roland in Borderlands 2. The boss on this misson is cheap. Sheilds that regenerate, shooting lazers out of its eye, consistantly spawning suicide robots and robots that shoot rockets. Luckly, I found a cheap way to beat him. Just get behind it and blast it with explosive shotgun shells until it dies. I'm not even going to tell you how many times I died fighting this ****er.

Beat MGS4.

It would be my favorite of the big 4 MGS games except for the fact that the bosses are all horrible except the final one, which is pretty great. MGS3 beats it out because of having the best bosses in the series, and Big Boss > Solid Snake. I might buy MGS:PW HD edition because the new metal gear game - Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is a direct sequel to MGS:PW, and MGS:GZ is going to be a prequel to the next one, which will be MGS5.

Other than that, I'm pretty much gameless until Wii U.

I didnt like the MGS 3 bosses. No connection to them. I think MGS 2 easily had the best, then MGS 1, 4 then 3.

I'd rank the bosses MGS3-MGS1-MGS4-MGS2. So we basically just have 3 and 2 switching places.

I'm hoping Peace Walker is as good as the main games in the series. They say it's really good, and the new MGS game coming out for the big consoles is a direct sequel to it, so I feel obligated to buy and play it someday, maybe soon not sure.

I think Psycho Mantis was the best boss in the MGS. I just think it was so cleverly done especially for its time. I loved it...

Btw M.C. what do you mean by "No Connection" to them??? Cause if i recall correctly they wernt all that random. Wernt they all part of the same group or something??? Sorry its been a while.

Also isnt 3 the one that had that pretty cool sniper battle??? Against that fat guy. Though i think the sniper battle in the snow in number 1 was really awesome also.

I also enjoyed the vampire guy in number 2.

AHH i just love so much about MGS series. Such a great OVERALL game.


I remember spending days replaying the games so i could get all the dog tags. In one of the games i managed to get every single one. It was number 2 im pretty sure.

Lol i just remembered that one random thing where you had to do pull ups to get stronger.
