Yeah the decisions carry a lot of weight.

Someone please explain to me why The Walking Dead is a good game. Because it bores me to tears.

When I play The Walking Dead I see a game that is one of the least challenging games I've ever played, I see loads of clichés and empty phrases in the chatting with other players, and I see a story and a plot and characters that if this was on the cinema, everyone would agree this is severely lacking. It's not a deep and meaningful and complex game at all, it's really dull and lame. Since this thread is a big wank fest over this game, someone explain why it's so good.

The lack of meaning and complexity is ALWAYS there with the "mystery protagonist". I believe the main character has some sort of criminal history which the player doesnt really get too much into, and his demeanor is very blank and to the point, so I think thats where you're drawing your conclusions.

It's not really meant to be a challenging game. It's meant to tell a story and allow the player to drive that story. It's more about decision making and moral dilemmas then it is actually completing challenging tasks.

Another day, another time spent on Dota2. Am I the only one here who's into that game?

Been playing Dota for almost 10 years, ever since it first came out as a Reign of Chaos mod. Love the game, love the way Valve do their business with these games, love that Icefrog is pulling the strings. I haven't been playing Dota 2 yet but I will definitely play a lot of hours soon, probably this christmas.
